Hello,

I am a volunteering at Maruthy dog shelter which is based near Kodathy gate. The shelter has a lot of dogs here(around 120). Despite hiring staff to replace others going on leave. The replacement staff skipped out. We have only one guy left to work at the shelter plus the trustees ( and sometimes volunteers helping out)

We need volunteers for helping in feeding the dogs and cleaning the shelter and some other tasks around. Need people who are not scared of a bunch of dogs at once.

We are also looking for donations for the shelter. Some of the things we need:

Old & useful...

Newspaper

Blankets old furniture (like armchairs sofas)

Pet accessories (like collars, chains etc.)

New & useful

Large tarpaulin sheets(for example 30' by 40') sheets (Need to keep babies away from the rains)

Phenyl(for cleaning purposes)

Food

Pedigree brand chicken n milk flavor 20 kg sacks

Pedigree brand chicken n vegetable flavor 20 kg sacks

Broken unboiled rice 25 or 26 kg sacks
