I can’t afford to tour right now. Is it all it’s cracked up to be?

I get down when I see other bands in my area touring. A lot of the time it’s cause they have rich parents or something. Not always though of course. I might have to wait another year or so before I can. As band leader, I want my bandmates to have a decent time. Is it all it’s cracked up to be? Should I give up? I know touring is the way bands even get anywhere in the first place. So idk if I have a chance.

Based on my experience the biggest cities have the worse shows. The mid sized ones turned out more. It was another era though.
