Does anyone play cards?

Growing up, my parents and their friends all played cards regularly. Nobody gambled or anything - they just chilled out at each other's houses or at restaurants playing hearts, canasta, Rook, Skip-Bo, rummy, etc.
Does anybody do this anymore? Where can I find this? I know there are places that do tabletop gaming or newer games, but I'm looking strictly for old school, basic-ass card games.
