Latin dance general help
Post Body

Hey y’all I do international latin dance, just got a few main questions that I struggle with.

  1. How do I improve speed in cha cha without sacrificing technique? I’ve been told to go slow, but how do I progress from doing it good slowly, to doing it good fast?

  2. In samba, pretty much the same thing. How do I improve the speed of the samba bounce with the rhythms? For example, sometimes I can’t bend and straight fast enough with voltas, making them look bad instead of a nice bounce action.

  3. In rumba, how do I improve arm styling?

  4. What are some good places to get practice latin dance wear for guys? Just need a couple good shirts (not crazy expensive tho)

Thanks, feel free to answer any.
