nervous to take her out the enclosure

Idk why. I've handled snakes before briefly. I saw the guy at the pet store grab her out even with food in the tank and she was totally fine. But for some reason I am extremely nervous. She's getting jumpy with me causing me to tense up. I have a snake hook but the noises from opening are catching her attention. Not sure what to do here.
