would a snake escape an open window on a cold night if it got out?

my snake somehow got out of his enclosure in the middle of the night last night. the windows without screens were open as well as the back door. it was somewhat cold though(~60F), so even though he could have dropped out the screenless window next to his tank, or out the back door, would he have done so? i am extremely worried. if he got out then he is certainly gone forever but if he’s still in the house, there is a chance.
