Friend had his snake die- im suspect it was from poor husbandry. How to be helpful without blaming him?

Post Body
My friend has been raising BP longer than I but doesnt seem to have done enough research. His female was 2 months older than my youngest and smaller. He kept her in a glass tank with a heat light and aspen bedding, and we have gone in circles about proper husbandry. He was devastated by the loss but doesnt seem to understand that he played a major role in keeping his snake healthy. I want to help but I feel like ive alienated him and he doesnt want to talk about it.
