First off I'm in no way an expert and this is just an observation. I've had one BP for about two years now and ever so often he will stop eating but will show signs that maybe he is hungry, ie will poke just his head outside of his hide. I feed him FT and I found that sometimes you really have to use really hot water for him to become interested in the mouse. What I do is defrost the mice in warm water first and then soak them under really hot water right before I go to feed him.
Hope this helps some people, sorry if this was common knowledge to most.
EDIT: Obviously not TOO hot to where you might cook the mouse or harm your snake
