Post Body

Hey everyone; I just posted in here about opinions on feeding but I just thought of something that I can’t find clear answers for elsewhere. I have a new ball python: a juvenile that I got a couple days ago. She’s eaten her first meal and is doing great. I’m currently using paper towels for substrate since that’s what she’s used to and until I get some actual substrate, and I was wondering if I should change it this first week. I’m trying to bother her as little as possible her first week aside from regular water changes and daily mistings, and changing out the paper towels would require me to handle her, and I’d rather not do that the first week since she’s getting acclimated. So should I just wait until next week to change it out? Or should I attempt to do it this week?
