Hey everyone! So I just got my first ball python a couple days ago. Her name is Inferno and she’s a normal ball python. So far she’s doing wonderfully to be in a new space. I fed her the same day I brought her home (simply because she hadn’t eaten in ten days apparently and she’s a juvenile less than a year old), and she ate very well. She’s been a bit shy but is slowly exploring her new home at night when she wakes up. I of course am waiting a week plus a couple days after she eats her next meal to start handling her and getting her used to me. My question is in regards to feeding, is it better to feed her in her enclosure or outside of it? I’ve heard a lot of different opinions and reasonings, but what has worked best for you and caused your python the least stress?
