Hello.
I just want to vent about those stupid new intersections dotted along Sturt Street. The ones that force you to do a U turn to get to the other side of the street.
I'm sure for a lot of you this is old news and nothing interesting but...holy shit. How in anyone's right mind are these useful? They are the opposite of functional. For a city that was considered difficult to navigate for tourists and new residents these don't help with the reputation.
It is the epitome of Counter intuitive. I mean if you want to travel from any of the south side streets crossing sturt st you now have to turn, drive another block and back, want to turn left or right into one of the streets you need to go an extra block and just using them feels stupid. I thought the whole idea of city planning was to make things flow better and reduce congestion etc etc.
How the fuck did these things get approved? The more I think about it the more it stumps me. Christ almighty. Sorry, sorry. I'm sure I sound like an angry man yelling at clouds but hell, haha.
I hope the person that signed off on these got fired. Fuck me dead
