True Neutral Human Blackguard, canon good party

i was a little disappointed in the sarevok fight. 5 seconds in and jaheira is dead and the team is half Hp. Luckily minsc and I charged in and both crit sarevok for well over 40hp. I pause the game as i see a fireball fly at us and accept death, but at the last thought, i absorb life my brother for the victory. "Before the fireball hits and kills the other 3 of my team". (The games resurrects them for Sod so i get the everyone lives achievement) The fight lasted at most 3 mins.

I'm Skipping SOD till me second playthrough,as per recommended. Now im trying to decide if i should go back and play again, on a harder mode with mods(i feel as if i cheesed the game along the way{i did i cheated several times})

Or push forward to BG2{less cheating i swear}

Should i move on or restart. I really want to try the sandrah saga, never really seen and yays or nays on it

Update: I’m at chapter 2 of BG2 and WoW. Already so much more engaging than bg1
