Is this game beatable solo or Duo as new player?

Replaying Bg 2 on mobile and the constant need to micromanage is kinda annoying me.
Is it possible to beat the game as pair?
If so gimme some advice.
If not possible I will try to bear through it I liked the story but this game has ton of content and all the micro stuff can get pretty boring.
