Help a Noob create the ultimate party
Post Body

So I recently finished BG1, wasn’t really happy with my party choices or performance.

I want to roll a custom party with the intention of going through the whole OG series. I used NPC the first time, but this time I’d like to make a custom party so I can be in more control and have the freedom to roleplay.

I want to make a 3-4 man party so I still have the freedom to do companion quests and not awkwardly deny people who ask me to join them.

So I come to you wise adventures for guidance.

I’m pretty such I want the MC to be an Archer. Or an Archer hybrid maybe.

But I need to cover a thief Role, a healer, a tank, and a mage.

If you were a young orphaned archer, what would be your ideal 3 man group of unstoppable bodyguards

Edit:

Thanks all for the input, helped me narrow down and get a better idea of what I needed. Doing a bit of trial work with a Fighter/Cleric and a Fighter/Thief/Mage
