So far I've thought about ripping some abilities from the Pillars of Eternity Monk, borrowing some features from 5e DND Monks, maybe stuff from Pathfinder, and even the Scarlet brotherhood version of the Monk from AD&D2E.
I'm thinking that as opposed to other classes, it gets a shit ton of innate abilities that you can choose from to tailor to your play style. Things like a whirlwind kick, knockout punch, super jump, energy balance (e.g. attack that causes all of an enemy ability scores to be set to 10), self clone, etc.
Oh and don't recommend the monk mods, no shade to them they're lovely especially artisans kit pack ones, but they still could not perform well enough to solo in SCS insanity. I'm looking for a completely different flavor of monk to separate it from other classes
