First time doing TOB and feel a little disappointed

I've just finish SOA for the third time (first one playing on something else than easy, I was on hard) and just beat Yaga-Shura on Throne of Bhaal. I always stopped before the extension on my previous playthrough, don't know why but here we are.

Thing is, I find it a bit meh ? I mean story's okay but the battle... Maybe it's only the fire giant but it feels like every battle since I'm in is insanely difficult. I need to buff way much than before, rest a lot, etc. I mean the battle against Yaga-shura was easier than some previous trash mobs I faced. Is that normal and will it be like that the whole extension ? Seems a bit much
