Hello! In the last year or two I've realized I'm thinning, and in the last 6 months to a year there's seemingly been some pretty aggressive hair loss. I'm only 22, and I think I will see a doctor to see if there's any issues I'm having that may be causing this.
Regardless though, I think this is inevitable, and my hairless seems quite similar to my dad's hair loss when he was younger. Mine is basically the entire top of the head. I like to say that I don't have a receding hairline, I have a hairline seceding from the hair union!
Anyway, I grew my hair and beard out due to some depression a few years ago. And I can grow a pretty good beard for my age. I also liked having long hair. But I don't like being forced into having a beard, as it makes me look older, and I'd like to have the option to change it or shave it altogether. Though I think if I shave/chop my hair and beard, I'll just look strange, because I'm a chunky guy without a good jawline or anything. So it seems I'm forced to keep the beard, but I feel the bald beard thing is overdone, and also I think it will make me look like exactly like my dad.
Apologies for this post being all over the place. I'm just looking for advice and hopefully pics of handsome bald fat guys with good facial hair ideas. When I looked up "bald clean-shaven fat guy," all I got were these Homer Simpson-esque stock images, which I feel like is baldophobia or something.
