I saw a post here a few days ago talking about useless jokers, and someone mentioned the vampire. I sort of agreed. But other people were mentioning the Vampire Midas combo. And...that totally worked.

I got these two jokers early in the run, and the beginning was a struggle, because the only two jokers I had in the beginning (Midas / Vampire) were totally worthless. But as the Xmult started to build up, things got easier.

This screenshot is from winning on ante 8. I was already one joker down due to my own stupidity, and then I sold another for verdant green. But even with only 3 jokers I was able to sail through without any problem.

The one thing that surprised me though was learning how much I usually rely on card enhancements. They raise score, give you money, etc. etc. With this combo of jokers there are no Lucky cards, no multi cards, bonus cards etc. But when your mult is 10 , you can get through.
