My teacher is encouraging me, strongly, to compete with a slow air and then a 2 parted 2/4 march. I maybe over thinking the whole thing, but are there tunes that won't win or have a higher chance of winning? Like if played close to, if not, perfect? The choice of a seemingly endless selection is making it tough. Also, a highly subjective question and asked a bunch, what would be good songs to look at/ consider/to pick. I'm not afraid of something difficult; it's only going to make me grow. So, don't worry too much about grade level. I like a challenge. Thank you in advance.
Also I made another post asking the other controversial question, what bagpipes are the best...I went with the Stuart Liddel Mccullums. Warrenty is great and I love the harmonics of the demons. So thank you all for helping make that decision.
