I’m just here to rant about my former but recent roommate that I had to deal with for 4 VERY LONG months. The first thing that I noticed about him was that he never washed the dishes with soap (we didn’t have a dishwasher) and they were always extremely greasy and had food or drink still on the dishes.. the thing that bugged me the most was that he always stole my fiancé and I’s food and drinks like he would take most of it but NEVER pitched in with groceries. I don’t even think this man knew how to grocery shop! He also had to have complete control over the central AC to the point he broke it TWICE by it constantly being turned on and off. He was the only on the lease and he refused to get it fixed for months the first time and didn’t get it fixed at all the second time even though it was free. He also had a bunny that was out of his cage 24/7 that practically neglected and there was bunny poop everywhere in the house. He also got a second bunny and threw it outside claiming it was sick when it clearly wasn’t. The thing that irked me the most was the landlord gave him a 30 days notice to leave then he took our rent money and didn’t tell us we had to leave until he started packing (which wasn’t even a week left for us).
