The story follows a young man trying to make it as a director. He works at a local grocery store and still lives with his parents. He falls in love with a pizza girl whom he met after ordering a pizza under a goofy name. He keeps buying pizza until he meets her again and decides to ask her out. After a few dates they start to become a thing. He starts writing her into his script as the female lead. After a few months he starts affording enough money to start buying equipment for his film. His girlfriend starts becoming more and more distant as he occupies all of his time towards his film. She eventually breaks up with him because of the distance between them. This drives him insane as every time he looks at his script he thinks of her, he decides to start over. After months of work he decides to spend more time working on his script, at work he sits in the produce aisle. He starts becoming into his character, forgetting reality as a whole. He sits in the produce aisle slowly moving into his new reality. Soon his physical appearance becomes that of his character. His ex girlfriend walks down the produce aisle to see a him, she stares right at him. He sits there and finally realises who he has become
