With the recent news of yet another badminton coach in trouble for inappropriate conduct, it got me thinking, is there's an existing culture issue with American badminton to allow this sort of behavior go unchecked?
There have been numerous incidences in LA, the Bay Area and Seattle. Even more puzzling, many of these people continue to coach once everyone forgets about them.
What do you guys think?
I don’t think this is a problem specifically with badminton culture. It’s in sports where a coach with inappropriate impulses can’t conduct in a professional manner. Can happen with any sport. I just hope this stuff stays away from badminton in the future, it doesn’t need the bad publicity

Good point. Lack of skilled coaches in US may cause limited options if you really want to play better. Not saying it’s ok that this crap happens when there is a lack of good coaches, cuz it’s not. Parents might not research their kids badminton coaches because they just happy there is a coach.
