This map shows WW1 casualties per country, and puts the Ottoman Empire at over 10%. This is bad history because unlike in the other countries fighting a majority of the "casualties" the Ottomans suffered were the result of the genocide of the Armenian and Pontic Greek population in the Ottoman Empire. Calling the civilian men, women and children systematically killed and/or marched into the desert with no food and water by the Turkish government and/or militias war casualties is an enormous stretch.
