How to catch a serial killer (Van-Damme) if you have his DNA but no other evidence? You clone him (Van-Damme) and put the clone in the care of the shittiest cop imaginable (Michael Rooker).

Obviously there are multiple Van-Damme-vs-Van-Damme fight scenes, which slingshots this film out of “so bad” territory directly into “must watch”. 8/10, will watch again!

I'm a fan of a lot of Van Damme movies, Double impact, Cyborg, Hard Target, Bloodsport, Universal Soldier..... they all rock.

But yes, Replicant is a bad movie.
