[bug] PDF preloading to external app from a slide/page away when in slideshow mode

Edit: i'm on android if it matters. in case you couldn't tell from the sub i linked to.

When I am a slide/page away from this post, and assuming any post that links directly to a pdf, BR preloads the pdf it links to, opening it in my external pdf viewer presumably since BR cant open pdfs itself. I sorta get why this happens, preloading the next slide so it ready when you go to it which works great for pictures and what not but apparently has unwanted behavior with pdfs.

I see this as a bug and unwanted behavior in two ways. One it is loading something outside of BR and unless i explicitly tell it to do that it is not what i want to happen. Then Two, it doing it from a slide/page away from the actual content disrupting what I am actually viewing currently.

Only setting i could find to stop this was to turn off "auto load weblinks in slide show". This makes slideshow mode basically useless to me though since it is my favorite way to browse reddit.

Luckily I don't see many direct links to pdf often so it not a huge issue for me but still figured i would report it.

to reproduce:

1: have "auto load weblinks in slide show" on

2: go to /r/android ( or any other sub with direct links to pdfs i am presuming)

3: select post before the pdf post ( currently 3rd post down but adjust as needed)

4: if in slideshow mode pdf will load from the next post. If not in slideshow mode change to it and pdf will load. Might need external pdf viewer. mine autoloads in google drive.
