Over curvature of the spine with four loose disks, one of which is herniated

Had an accident many years ago and the pain has steadily gotten worse. Today I ended up crying because my back hurt having taken all my meds. Doctor has already increased them in the past two months. I use heat pads when sitting that help and a tens machine when I’m mobile (can’t go far). Any suggestions on anything else I can do.
