Is it a muscle?

For at least 5 years, the middle of my back. About a half inch under my shoulder blades will burn. Sometimes it’ll happen an hour at work. Sometimes more sometime less. It hurts so bad like it literally takes my breath away. And I’m only 20. I have no clue.
