I’m looking for recommendations for a minimalist, professional backpack that will primarily be used to carry my laptops and tech equipment. Currently, I have the Swissgear 3760 ScanSmart Laptop Backpack and love its organization, but it can’t zip properly when I add a second laptop. However, when I add a second laptop, the zippers at the top center tend to open because of the weight, which causes the backpack to open and possibly spill. I have to pull both zippers to the bottom (either on the right or left side) to prevent it from opening.
Here are the key elements I’m looking for in a new backpack:
- Capacity: Around 26 liters
- Design: Minimalist and professional
- Durability: High quality material for long-lasting use
- Organization: Multiple compartments (not just one big space) to keep loose items organized
- Laptop Support: Good protection for both laptops
- No SmartScan feature: I need a bag that can properly zip, even when carrying two laptops
- Price Range: Between $100 and $150, though I’m willing to go higher if it’s worth the investment
Items I’ll be carrying:
- Dell Laptop
- HP Laptop
- Vertical Ergonomic Mouse
- Two Laptop Chargers
- Two USB-C to USB-C Cables
- USB-C to HDMI/DisplayPort Adapter
- Wireless Earbuds
- Travel Shoe Horn
- Book to Read
