Hello guys! 25 Italian guy here. At the end of the year I will be backpacking around South East Asia (the idea is to do Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand). It will be my first adventure as both a solo traveler and a backpacker. I'm writing here for advice regarding shoes and a hardshell/waterproof jacket.
I would like to find a pair of comfortable, breathable and lightweight shoes that are suitable for both daily travel and some hiking that I will certainly do.
As for the jacket, I don't know whether to get a hard shell or if I should get a poncho. I am traveling with a relatively small backpack (30l) so the weight and above all space factor must be taken into consideration.
