1st Solo Backpacking Success!

I have been planning my first trip for a total of 4 years, I have been hiking for a few years and I really wanted to dabble into backpacking but always felt like I never "fit in" to the stereotype of a hiker. I am a plus sized hiker and I go super slow & take my time with my slow stride. But afterwards I felt so proud of myself and of my body for accomplishing my first trip! It was a strenuous trail, out-and-back, 2.5 mi one way and I hammock camped. I did it!
