Is stillbirth related to genetic issues or fertility?
Post Body

I had my son 2 months ago and he was a stillborn. miscarriages, preterm labor and stillbirth are very common in my husband’s family and I saw a lot of people saying that they had a struggle to get pregnant with rainbow babies after stillbirth or they had miscarriages after or any kind of issues We couldn’t determine a reason for the stillbirth because my baby weighed about 3.5kgs and he had no birth defects or any symptoms of genetic defects that showed he looked very normal and because of his weight we couldn’t think it was a placenta issue or a cord issue Anyway we want to get tested me and my husband so we would try our best to make sure that it doesn’t happen again or at least try to determine a reason for what happened to him But I am really scared that it would happen again just because a lot of issues runs on his side of the family and my mom had hard pregnancies as well. Also my Dr just told me yesterday that my ovary size is 14 which is not the best for conceiving so I’m a bit paranoid from the whole situation. Can someone tell me if I should be really worried? Should we do genetic or fertility testing and if yes what tests should we do? We live in a third world country so everything here is a bit hard because there’s no real awareness about this stuff.
