How do I get him to stop climbing on everything šµāš«

This ornery little guy he's very adventurous, but he just now started pushing chairs up to everything and up he goes. But when I take him down it's a full on tantrum. I'm thinking about chaining my chairs to the table š„ø

Iām a nanny and I like the other comment about making it safer. The family I work for has a few cushioned gymnastics mats that we have moved all around under the climber du jour.
