I'm a Latino of Mexican descent, I have no Asian ancestry, I'm not adopted, ethnically I'm more related to native Americans. As far as I can remember, I've always been mistaken for being Asian, I do have your typical Asiatic features, Of course those come from my indigenous American ancestry. I can relate so much to what I've read in this subreddit and have had many similar experiences I've read on here, throughout school, I've heard all the Asian stereotypes said about me, They continued even after other kids knew I was just Hispanic like they were, throughout high School my nickname was Chino. I've had girls including Hispanic women turn me down because they thought I was Asian and went with the negative stereotypes of Asian men, on the other end, I've had girls of different ethnicities (K-Pop fangirls of course) being interested in me because they thought I was Asian. I can relate so much to these issues that Asians have to go through even though I'm just a Latino. Us Latinos and Asians have very similar experiences and problems we experience.
