A question for anyone reading a French translation
Post Body
What's been most interesting to me in this War and Peace journey is the differences in all the different translations, mostly with how much French is in each edition. I'm reading the Pevear and Volokhonsky edition, which is very Frenchy.
I've always heard that the classic example of a translator conundrum is what to do when translating War & Peace into French, because the rest of it will be in that language anyway. I've never heard what people actually do for it. Anyone know?
