I could use some advice on replacing my substrate. I have sand right now and I realize it harbors too much waste.

I want to switch to a grassy sort of landscape but I really prefer natural plants. Maybe a half and half would look nice too.

Any advice on how to successfully make this with the appropriate substrates?

I’ll do my own research and update but I wanted to get some advice from this forum since you guys have been super helpful with my prior questions.
