I've helped my friends with their liters, all together this is my 6th litter, sizes ranging from 3-15 puppies, I've been involved with, but my very first one of my own dog.
Just make sure the mom is hydrated, and warm. Give her space. Get puppy formula, just in case, before the birth, even if your having a small liter, I had one baby that didn't want to take to the nipple, but it was born small, so I gave it just a little bit of formula right away to give it strength, and then it was fine. And your momma will probably stink for a couple days, but she won't want to leave the babies, for anything. So remind her to eat and drink and go potty. And remind her she just just something awesome <3
She's about 6 pounds. She looks bigger, but it's all fluff. She's very fox-ish looking.

Thanks. These are papillons. I have both the parents, and they are the most loving dogs, and were actually traded as gifts by French nobility in the 17th century (so very regal looking). I have lupus, and I trained the momma of the babies to help me out when I'm in a flare and can't move and stuff, so she goes and gets the other people in my house and helps calm me down during panic attacks, or just gives me those random snuggles throughout the day. I really want the babies to go to homes that need that kind of support and love. <3
