Desmond sat at the long table that just the day prior the Northern leaders had discussed battle plans against the Riverlanders. He sent one of the Forrester guards to find his daughter and let her know he was looking for her. While he waited for her arrival he started penning letters to his associates outside the North. Enclosed was a message letting them know that they would all be receiving extra income from their contacts. They were to use this income to buy new equipment to help them in their daily tasks. He let them know that in the coming moon they could be asked to increase their output. He needed information because information was power.
