Any way to center a widget on a wibox?

I am wanting, just for fun in a VM, to make a configuration that is very visually appealing, even if not the most functional (but at this point, it is still pretty functional).
I was wanting to center the taglist on my top wibox, and even setting it to be in the center widget location, it doesn't actually center it on the screen, just slams it to the right. Is there a way to properly center it?
