I've been lucky enough to travel the US and world, but the one thing I never, ever do is rent cars. So anyone out there with any tips to rent cars?
I'm staying at the Grand Wyndham in Chicago and will need to rent a car from the morning of Nov. 9 to the evening of Nov. 11 to go to Indiana (normally would take the train, but need more flexibility).
I'm not a member of any car rental program of note -- though I'm sure my credit cards may offer some status with various agencies if I checked.
Any suggestions?
