I found a Star alliance Award space (J) on Turkish for 52,500 miles and $51, departure from EWR. The same space was 82K points on United. So I transferred my points to Turkish and called the customer service 800-874-8875 to book it. They were able to block the ticket and sent me the confirmation with the reservation number. For some reason, they are unable to process the payment. Tried using different cards as well. They are trying to process Turkish Lira and I dont think that should be a problem. As long as its visa or master, it should work. I have one more day to try and resolve this and I dont know what to do. I tried calling them multiple times and its the same issue.

I'm able to see the reservation on hold under my account on the Tuskish airline website and there's an option for me to pay there. But that payment page seems buggy and I'm not able to do it online either.

What are my options? Have you guys faced this payment issue while trying to book Turkish award? how did you end up resolving it? Is there any local US sales office I can contact ? Please let me know.
