We knew some of this already but here are a few things about the new album. Nothing major really but nice to hear some more!

• It’s apparently coming in February
• According to Avril it’s her most “alternative” record to date. “This is the first one that’s just rock all the way through.”
• MGK co-wrote a track
• There’s only one song that even resembles a ballad on the album

“The album is light and happy, even though there’s songs about heartbreak and breaking up,” she continues. “But it’s also anthemic, and it’s powerful, and it has a positive message for people to stand up for yourself, to have self-worth.” It’s the album, she says, “I’ve wanted to make for my whole career.”
