19 years old having a hard time trying to figure what career to go for. Been working almost 1 full year as a service tech for a company since I graduated high school but I want to learn a special skill/trade as my brother tells me to do since his background is in diesel mechanic. He always mentions me look into aviation and from the videos I’ve searched up and my research it does seem like something I would like to give a try. I just don’t know how to start. Some people recommend me to go to school others tell me nowadays there’s on the job training. What do you guys think I should do to start off and while we’re at it, how’s the aviation life? Benefits, work life schedule, salary? I’m based in Houston TX if that helps. Anything will help, thanks.
