If I have a flight that is 2 legs. The first airport is 32nm from airport of departure and the final destination is 54nm straight line from my point of departure. Can I count this as XC time despite doing a low approach at the first destination but landing at the second? Since the second airport is the only one I landed at and was 54nm from my original airport of departure?
Edit: I am a Private pilot with an instrument rating and I have my commercial checkride coming up. Logging these hours as a XC flight is not to meet any specific requirement but just to accurately fill in my logbook. I believe it would be XC as I landed at an airport at least 50NM from my point of departure but I want to make sure as I do not want any errors in my log book.
