Is a Bachelor of Aviation worth it?

Post Body

I'm currently taking a break from my studies due to my class 1 taking much longer than expected. In the mean time I'm giving quite a lot of thought as to what my options are. At the moment I have 12 months (until the start of August next year) to make a decision.

One of my options that I'm considering is to drop out of my current bachelor of aviation and just going to a flight school to complete my training (provided I get my class 1), my only trouble with this though is I'm not sure if the bachelor of aviation is worth it or not, will employers in the future consider me any less qualified if I have the hours? I'm not planning on going straight to airlines if that makes a difference. I just need some opinions from people already working in the field who know what difference it makes to have a bachelor or degree in aviation or not. Thank you for any help.
