We went with friends to Merge. We got in line to get in. We were having fun and we were almost inside until a lady said we didnt fit the vibe and asked us to leave. We did. Security said we could re-enter if we re-joined the line. We rejoined the line. Security afterwards said we should leave because we would never get in. We confronted and asked why. They choked me and dragged me outside to the street (out of nowhere). We stopped a police officer to file a complaint. The security guards at the party interfered with the police (they clearly knew eachother). Police was reluctant to take the claim and make a report. They finally did it. We are filing a legal claim against Merge and their security. This whole thing started because we were taking selfies with 2025 New Year glasses and the girl who decided who got in didnt like the vibe (which is fine). The security escalated it and got violent for no reason.
