"Uptempo Hardcore" or just "Uptempo" is a sub genre of Hardcore edm music, known for its faster BPM's and heavy kicks. Uptempo is a lot more popular overseas in country's such as the Netherlands and Germany as opposed to the U.S.

For those unfamiliar with the genre, some notable Uptempo DJ's would be: Dimitri K, Equal 2, Deadly Guns, Cryogenic, ect.

Does anyone know any local/underground shows in LA where the focus is mainly Uptempo music? I've been using 19hz already for a while now and I only know of one organizer by the name of "strictly_hardcore_dtla" however they mainly play gabber music, which is cool but I would rather listen to Uptempo.
