Private Underground events in LA?

Im curious, i recently moved to LA and ive been going to really nice warehouse parties in DTLA with really good headliners. When i talk to people and mention warehouse raves to them they all ask me how i find them and if i know people that invite me to them

Now i usually find then from the promoters that i follow on instagram or the artists that i like.

The question: are there underground warehouse parties that are invite only? Do they play techno? And who usually plays at events like these?

Is these events different than 6am, work, and the rest?
