I love most EDM but real old school female vocal trance - ATB, Dash Berlin, Kaskade, Armin van Buuren, deadmau5 in his trance era - those are my favorites.
Are there any events with a focus on that genre (not necessarily those artists)? Can't do Insomniac or HARD events really because I like to do gloving / flow arts at shows.
The Academy in LA has a lot of events but it looks sort of more just like a club than a proper rave, maybe I'm wrong? The whole "dress upscale" thing in their 'dress code' puts me off but they have great artists.
