Advice for what to drink/eat before taking some E

I was reading that taking E can cause the breakdown of skeletal muscle due to the imbalance of electrolytes. Due to that it seems smart to load up on electrolytes the day before using hypertonic solutions (Basically Gatorade with more electrolytes, so much so that it’s more concentrated than your blood). That being said I have also read that hypertonic solutions can dehydrate you. Any advice on how much electrolytes I should consume the day before?
