I was watching the Tomorrowland stream when it was Dmitri Vegas, Like Mike, Martin Garrix, and multiple others doing a b2b2b2b2b. They did a sit-down for their hit 'Tremor' (probably about 90 seconds of 'sit your asses down' 'everybody in the front to the back sit the fuck down!'), and then they played 30 seconds of the drop and the crowd went wild - and then the stopped the music and yelled out 'lets do it over again'.
I had a few friends at the festival that actually that sent some messages about leaving that stage because there were too many interruptions to the music, and out of my circle of friends, nobody likes sit downs at all.
I've never enjoyed a sit-down, they're brutal when you're in a big crowd (sweaty, uncomfortable, etc), and they just totally kill any dancing groove you might have at the time. It wasn't so bad when it was a one-off thing for the SHM, but everybody does it for every festival or bigger show, and I'd be more than happy if DJs just stopped doing them all together - does anyone else feel the same way?
